The Trio Bedřich was founded in 2023 in the Chamber Music class of Monica Cattarossi at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan.
In 2024, the ensemble distinguished itself at the 10th Edition of the Premio del Conservatorio di Milano, where it was awarded 3rd Prize, a recognition that marked the beginning of an intense concert activity. Since then, the Trio has performed in prestigious halls and Italian venues, including the Auditorium San Giovanni Decollato in Città di Castello, the Olbers-Saal in Bremen, the Grosser Saal in Bern, the Teatro Gonzaga in Ostiano, the Teatro Carmen Melis in Cagliari, the Salone Pietro Da Cemmo in Brescia, as well as the Sala Puccini and Sala Verdi of the Milan Conservatory.
In 2025, the Trio Bedřich won 1st Absolute Prize and the Audience Prize at the 29th Giulio Rospigliosi International Chamber Music Competition in Lamporecchio, 3rd Prize and First Audience Prize at the 5th European Competition “Il Gasparo da Salò” in Brescia and 3rd Prize at the Virtuoso & Belcanto International Chamber Music Competition 2025.
In the same year, the ensemble was awarded Absolute Winner of the Premio Dragoni 2025, organized by the prestigious Società del Quartetto of Milan.
The Trio has taken part in numerous masterclasses with leading figures of the international chamber music scene, including Enrico Bronzi, Alberto Miodini, Pierpaolo Maurizzi, Martina Santarone, Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Pace, Patrick Jüdt, Heime Müller, Luc-Marie Aguera, Louise Hopkins and Minna Pensola.
The Trio is currently continuing its artistic development under the guidance of Mº Bruno Giuranna at the prestigious Accademia Stauffer in Cremona, as well as Mº Patrick Jüdt at the Hochschule der Künste of Bern (HKB).
It was recently selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto.
